Ruschek Fiber Arts Store Love Story

​

Our story began in winter of 2019 when Anna and Lena met simply over a conversation about moving to USA.

Anna (from Czech Republic) and Lena (from Russia) found common grounds, loving art and loving creating fun items.

Soon they had a vision of becoming store owners where they could share with anyone who wanted to learn or appreciate their vas knowledge of many form of art.

Lena who specializes in fiber coloring, spinning, weaving, and knitting. Anna who specializes in sewing, quilting, embroidering, crocheting and way more to mention.

      These two friends have a vision of a storefront (yet to still open) where ladies AND gents could come in to shop, learn, or observe as we demonstrate and teach the different vast forms of fiber arts. The vision also entails a little sitting area in antique like chairs and tables where anyone can come and join them during the day, sit and talk over coffee or tea and just relax in a cozy, friendly environment, of course customers are welcome to bring their own project to work on as they enjoy their day.

       Another exciting service they will be providing is "rent a room by the hour" where customers can use their equipment to work on their own project and simply have Anna or Lena there to help them with any questions they may have. Also, as Anna and Lena know, art equipment can be very pricey and take up loads of space in our homes, which makes is harder and less enjoyable life.
